You will be studying an interesting array of subjects that not only include related subjects like gum diseases, tissue structure, dental materials and hygiene but also pharmacology, nutrition, anatomy and pathology plus a few others too.

You will require at the end of the program at least a certificate or an associate degree in dental hygiene to obtain a state license and be able to practice in this career.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from one of the countries Dental Hygienist Schools offering a program, would enable you to command a much higher salary and to broaden employment opportunities in this field.
